Roland Tomforde

Roland Tomforde brings extensive executive and operational experience to Angeion Group. Before Angeion’s acquisition of Donlin, Recano & Co., Tomforde served as the company’s COO and later as president. During his tenure, he led a 90% workforce transition to remote work, helped drive a tripling of monthly revenue during COVID, and guided the business from a largely paper-based operation to one operating almost entirely digitally.

Before his leadership roles at Donlin and Angeion, Tomforde worked for D.F. King and ultimately led its investor relations business, Taylor Rafferty. In that role, he oversaw the merger of five investor relations divisions with offices in London, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Manila. He also worked on several major operational initiatives, including helping establish a 500-seat call center in eight weeks for King Teleservices, D.F. King’s call center business.

Tomforde holds a bachelor’s degree in history and German language and literature from Yale University and a Master of International Affairs, with a concentration in security studies, from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. He also served eight years in the U.S. Marine Corps as an infantry officer, leaving as a major after combat tours in the Balkans and Iraq.
