Lachlan Sykes

Lachlan serves as the Head of Legal and Compliance at Angeion Group International, where he leads the strategic legal, regulatory, and ethical framework for the organisation. He also plays an import role in developing client relationships and ensuring that all services are delivered with a strong focus on integrity, risk mitigation, and transparency in all business practices. With over 12 years of legal experience (spanning corporate law, data privacy, investigations and regulatory compliance), Lachlan ensures that business innovation is aligned with local and global legal standards.

Prior to joining Angeion Group, Lachlan ran a consultancy specialising in complex cross-border disputes and helping clients navigate regulatory issues, notably VC entry into China’s competitive e-payments sector. His extensive experience in emerging markets enables him to proactively manage legal risk while supporting business growth, especially in jurisdictions with developing legal and regulatory frameworks.

Lachlan is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and has been called to the bar of England and Wales. Known for combining legal acumen with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, he is a trusted advisor to both executive leadership and operational teams. He is also an advocate for ethical AI governance, DEI in corporate policy, and mentorship in the legal profession.
