Lachlan Sykes serves as Director, International Operations at Angeion Group International, where he leads the strategic legal, regulatory, and ethical framework for the organisation. He also plays an important role in developing client relationships and ensuring that services are delivered with a strong focus on integrity, risk mitigation, and transparency in business practices. With more than 12 years of legal experience spanning corporate law, data privacy, investigations, and regulatory compliance, Sykes helps ensure business innovation is aligned with local and global legal standards.

Before joining Angeion Group, Sykes ran a consultancy specialising in complex cross-border disputes and helping clients navigate regulatory issues, including venture capital entry into China’s competitive e-payments sector. His experience in emerging markets enables him to proactively manage legal risk while supporting business growth, especially in jurisdictions with developing legal and regulatory frameworks.

Sykes is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and has been called to the bar in England and Wales. Known for combining legal acumen with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, he is a trusted adviser to both executive leadership and operational teams. He is also an advocate for ethical AI governance, DEI in corporate policy, and mentorship in the legal profession.
