Emily Gottlieb is Executive Vice President of Bankruptcy at Angeion Group, where she drives business development efforts across the bankruptcy and corporate restructuring sectors. A licensed attorney, she practiced for seven years in the bankruptcy departments of leading Chicago law firms before moving into legal administration, where she helped establish and lead the Chicago office of a leading national claims administration firm, managing a team of more than 30 professionals.
She later served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Business Development at AW Properties Global, specializing in distressed real estate and bankruptcy auctions. A frequent speaker at industry events, she is Co-Chair of the Chicago chapter of the Turnaround Management Association’s Network of Women and a former Chair of the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) Chicago network.
She holds a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and a B.A. in History from the University of Michigan.
