Derek Burrows

Derek Burrows is responsible for directing Angeion’s operations to modernize and deliver best-in-class notice and claims administration services. He is dedicated to achieving operational excellence through data-driven, continuous improvement, and innovation. Burrows brings his experience in strategic planning and execution to improve the quality of our offerings and support Angeion’s continued rapid growth.

Before joining Angeion, Burrows served as head of the operations and legal functions for GrammaTech and lead counsel for MarkLogic - software and professional services companies with premier customers around the world. After law school, he practiced in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, primarily focusing on corporate law and litigation.

Burrows has a JD from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University. He is a member of the New York and Virginia bar associations and is involved with several local non-profits.
