Bill Carter

Bill Carter is Chief Executive Officer of Angeion Group, where he leads the company’s continued growth as a provider of legal notice, settlement administration, and related legal administration services across complex class action, mass tort, bankruptcy, single-event, and personal injury matters.

Carter brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience across legal services and related professional services markets, with full P&L experience leading businesses ranging from $35 to $700 million. He has a track record of guiding companies through growth, operational complexity, digital transformation, acquisitions, and market expansion.

Before joining Angeion, Carter spent more than 13 years as President and Chief Executive Officer of ALM Global, a provider of data, intelligence, insight, events, and audiences across the legal, financial, and insurance sectors. At ALM, Carter led the company’s transformation from a print advertising business into a digital information services enterprise and helped expand Law.com into a leading global business-of-law platform.

Most recently, Carter served as Interim Chief Executive Officer of Integreon, a global provider of outsourced legal and business services. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at Thomson Reuters and LexisNexis, and began his career as a management consultant with Bain & Company.

Carter holds an MBA with honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Science in computer science from Georgia Tech, and a Bachelor of Science in computer science, summa cum laude, from Tulane University.
